Thompson Machinery Sales, Inc. was founded in 1979 by John Thompson; a veteran of 30 years in the construction industry with the original goal of providing quality used construction equipment to Las Vegas, Nevada construction contractors.

 

Originally, our primary focus was the purchase and resale of used Caterpillar equipment, to include bulldozers, motor graders, motor scrapers, off highway trucks, wheel loaders, and excavators.

 

As the company grew, due to overwhelming response, we expanded our marketing to the 11 western states and included the Canada and Mexico construction industry markets. We also broadened our scope of products to include all major name brands in earthmoving, mining, paving and aggregate machinery.

 

We are celebrating our 30^th year in business and have established a reputation both domestically and internationally as a viable source for quality, “work ready” equipment at competitive prices.
